What's next with Instacast?

To not leave you too depressed for today, I would like to announce something. I got a lot of messages on Twitter and via email about a potential Mac version of Instacast. And while I am thinking about it, I am currently working on something bigger which hopefully will be ready in the coming weeks. I am talking about Instacast 2.0 for iPhone which will include:

Playlists and Smart Playlists
Settings for individual Podcasts
Improved Player
Sleep Timer
Continuous Playback back and forth
Multiple yet secret sharing options
Bookmarks
Support for Atom and Multi-format Feeds
Archiving
Push Notifications
and a lot more.

The new version will be the basis to bring Instacast over 2012 well into 2013 and will form the foundry of new Instacasts for iPad and for Mac. I will also change the pricing structure a bit. More will be announced in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
