Ludwigsburg, Germany – June 1st, 2010. Vemedio has teamed up with Marfil to announce Jubilee a new application solely developed for the Apple iPad. Jubilee for iPad manages the birthday of contacts in the system-wide address book.
“Me, I wanted a simple and elegant way to not constantly forget birthdays of my family and friends.”, says Martin Hering, founder of Vemedio, “and I feel that we have just found the right package.”
Contacts are displayed on a calendar with their respective picture. New contacts can be added and existing ones can be edited. Jubilee has 12 lovely designed built-in templates for greeting cards the user can choose from to send via email. The user can also add a personal touch by signing the card using with one finger.
Making use of the integrated push notification service Jubilee can remind one of a birthday without even launching the application. Jubilee fully supports synching via iTunes and Mobile.me and always stays in sync with the Contacts and the Calendar app.

Jubilee for iPad is available in English, German, French and Japanese.

Jubilee for iPad is available on the App Store for an introductory price of $3.99.

Jubilee requires an iPad with iPhone OS 3.2 or higher, an email account and an internet connection.
